Release
2016/2D drawing /50x60cm
This series of works is about the spiritual release for my feeling of being constrained, stressed and anxious caused by the new environment in the city life.
The three works are interpreted in sequence, starting with the hands, then the body, and followed by the feet. The robe signified the negative feelings which I could not shake off, no matter how hard I had tried. However, the loose end of the robe tied at the feet one implies the way out through the spiritual releasing process. The three drawings showed the process from being bound until being released freely.
